Amergreen, Inc. is an Environmental Buidlings Engineering Consulting Company. We specialize in LEED Environmental Buildings Design and Construction, Project Management, Energy Management and Building Materials Recycling products and services.
Amergreen, Inc. is comprised of three main groups, a Construction Project Management (CPM) Business Solutions Division, an Environmental Planning & Documentation Division, and a Government Contracting Division. Since 1990, our team of certified professionals are actively engaged in providing products and services to both the private and public sectors nationwide. Our environmental products and services are U.S. DEP and LEEDs Certified and designed for maximum energy & water conservation and reduction in pollution or other waste from operations. All products and services are compliant with U.S. ADA regulations.
Amergreen, Inc. is composed of a team of professional Architects; Engineers, Environmental, Structural, Electrical and Civil Engineers; Costs Estimators; Schedulers; Document Control; Finance & Administrative Support; Compliance Managers; and Sustainable Integrated Design Specialist are brought together by the common objective of providing the finest quality consulting, research, training, and technical assistance services available to our clients. Amergreen, Inc. help our clients define and crystallize goals for successful completion of building projects. We work collaboratively with our clients to develop effective delivery systems and the most cost-effective plan and schedule for completing the project. Our project team divide all required construction site activities into logical steps, budgeting the time required to meet established deadlines by using specialized sophisticated construction estimating and scheduling software and the latest computer networking technology.
Amergreen, Inc. plan, direct, and coordinate a wide variety of construction projects, including the building of all types of residential, commercial, and industrial structures, roads, bridges, wastewater treatment plants, and schools and hospitals. Our project team oversees the selection of general contractors and trade contractors to complete specific pieces of the project—which could include everything from structural metalworking and plumbing to painting and carpet installation. We determine the labor requirements and, in some cases, supervise or monitor the hiring and dismissal of workers. Amergreen, Inc. oversee the performance of all trade contractors and are responsible for ensuring that all work is completed on schedule. Our strength lies in our inside out approach to accurately assess internal and external needs, focus on critical issues, and assist in the development of a success building plan. We monitor the progress of construction activities, through construction supervisors who oversee the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment; and the quality of construction, worker productivity, and safety. We obtain all necessary permits and licenses and, depending upon the contractual arrangements, direct or monitor compliance with building and safety codes and other regulations. We continually track and control construction costs to avoid cost overruns.

Training & Consulting
Amergreen, Inc. has conducted over 150 workshops on high performance commercial buildings, the ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1 energy code, ISO 14000 and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standards and other building code compliance standards. Amergreen, Inc. has authored many design and technical publications and CD-ROMs, including Sustainable Design, Construction and Land Development: Guidelines for the Southeast, Walkable Community Design Guidelines, and a series of fact sheets on sustainable operations and practices for commercial facilities.

The CPM Business Solutions Division is comprised of a team of A/E/C program and project manager known for their ability to develop insights from past data, to project estimates and forecasts into the future and to design management tools all requires deep knowledge of the industry. Our clients benefit from a flexible team structure in which a wide range of engineering, statistical, research and management expertise can be drawn upon for an unmatchable combination of professional insight. Amergreen, Inc. CPM Business Solutions offers the consultancy skills, knowledge, datasets and various publications and multimedia tools necessary to draw insights from the past, and confidently forecast and manage the future of buildings and facilities maintenance projects. Design Review and Building Life Cycle Evaluation Methods
Amergreen is an authorized Energy Star Partner and together we’ve conducted over 250 reviews of building designs to ensure that energy and environmental features are considered. Our services include the calculation of heating and cooling loads, energy simulation modeling, and economic analyses of efficiency and renewable energy measures.
Energy Audit Services
Amergreen, Inc. has conducted over 600 energy audits on single-family, multi-family and commercial buildings. These audits often feature use of diagnostic equipment including blower doors, duct testers, moisture meters, and combustion analysis equipment. The audit service provides recommendations for improving the quality of the structure, maximizing the efficiency of existing equipment, and other means for reducing energy, water and resource use and enhancing indoor environmental quality.
Amergreen, Inc. is certified to provide training on Energy Ratings. In addition, several Federal Government agencies have contracted with Amergreen, Inc. to provide technical assistance on developing ratings tools and training. Amergreen has several certified Energy Raters on staff and is a partner with the United States DOE/EPA and Energy Star.
Energy Research
Amergreen, Inc. conducts field research, education and outreach of renewable energy systems and building performance. Amergreen, Inc. has contracted with government agencies, utilities and private clients to perform research on a variety of topics ranging from low-cost solar thermal systems to air leakage pathways in buildings.
